CTE Scholarship
The 2025 HEF Scholarship Application is now open!
The Haverhill Education Foundation (HEF) will be pleased to award $1,000 to up to two Haverhill Public Schools graduates. This is a "needs-based" scholarship to assist students as they continue their education at a 2 or 4-year college or university, technical school, or apprenticeship program. APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, April 11, 2025
Applicants will be required to submit an essay and obtain a letter of recommendation from a Haverhill Public Schools teacher or staff member.
The following may improve your eligibility for this scholarship*:
Student lives at or below 300% of the federal poverty level.
Student who has qualities that exemplify the Haverhill Hillie values of inclusivity, achievement, and authentic learning that promotes pride in oneself and in their community.
Student is a first-generation high school graduate.
Student is a first-generation applicant to post-secondary education.
Student is a multi-language learner or bilingual.
Student identifies as a person of color and/or LGBTQIA.
*Applicants may choose to self-identify and this information will only shared with the scholarship selection committee.
The Haverhill Education Foundation is a 501c3 organization established in 1990 to provide support for projects and programs in the Haverhill Public Schools that excite students to learn and increase academic achievement. This scholarship was established in 2024.
