Mini-Grant Information

*Mini-grant guidelines have been updated for 2024. Please review carefully.*

The Haverhill Education Foundation (HEF) supports and promotes engaging, creative, and challenging projects and programs for Haverhill Public School students in order to enhance their educational experience.

HEF’s funding priorities are to support Project-Based Learning in all disciplines, for example:

Applicants must complete the on-line  Mini-Grant Application Form.  Grant applications will be accepted on a rolling basis through March 1, 2024.  The maximum funding for each grant is $300.  Funding will be distributed as reimbursement for documented expenses.

HEF mini-grants may not pay for teacher time, furniture, or equipment more appropriately provided by the school budget.   All communications and press coverage regarding a project funded by HEF must give recognition and credit to the Haverhill Education Foundation by name.  Board members must be invited to observe the project in action.

As close to the completion of the grant activities as possible, and no later than the last day of school, a Mini-Grant Evaluation form must be submitted along with original receipts for reimbursement for all supplies, equipment, and activities.  Teachers must also submit a minimum of 5 photographs of students implementing their project in digital format.

Questions may be directed to HEF at tfuller@haverhilleducationfoundation.org or 978 697-5620.
